The free download does not require an email address or account. Information you enter into your downloaded planner stays in your own copy. This website includes no added advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical request information to serve and secure the website. If you email contact@stackledger.co.uk, we receive your email address and the information in your message. Zoho provides the contact mailbox. We use that information to respond to your enquiry. Information we use and why
We receive information you provide when ordering or contacting us, and order information made available by Payhip and payment providers. This may include your name, email address, billing details, country, purchased products, order references, payment/refund status and support correspondence.
We use order and contact information to fulfil purchases, deliver files, provide support and administer cancellations or refunds. The lawful basis is performing a contract or taking steps you request before a contract.
We use relevant transaction records to comply with tax, accounting and other legal duties. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
We may use relevant order and correspondence information to prevent fraud, secure the shop and establish or defend legal claims. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the business and resolving disputes, balanced against your rights. Where processing is legally required, we rely on legal obligation instead.
We do not use purchase details for a marketing mailing list under this launch setup. If we introduce optional marketing, we will explain it and obtain consent where required. You can withdraw any consent without affecting earlier lawful use.
Service providers and sharing
Payhip supports the shop, checkout and download delivery. Stripe processes payments. Zoho hosts the contact email account. These providers process information needed to provide their services and may also use information under their own legal responsibilities and privacy notices. StackLedger does not receive your full payment-card details.
We may share relevant information with professional advisers or public authorities when necessary for advice, legal compliance or a legal claim. We do not sell customer personal information.
Provider information: https://payhip.com/privacy and https://stripe.com/gb/privacy and https://policies.google.com/privacy.
International processing
Our providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable safeguards can include UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections. You can contact us about the safeguards relevant to your information; provider privacy notices also explain their processing and international transfers.
Retention
We retain records needed for sole-trader tax and accounting purposes for at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline for the relevant tax year, and longer if a legal requirement, HMRC enquiry or unresolved dispute requires it.
Routine support correspondence that is not needed for those records is deleted within two years after the enquiry is resolved. Relevant material may be retained longer for an unresolved complaint or legal claim. Provider-managed records can be subject to those providers' separate retention obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive portable information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions; for example, some transaction records must be retained. Contact us using the details above. We normally respond within one month and will explain any lawful extension.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. You can also contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
Required information and automated decisions
We need certain order information to deliver a purchase and meet legal requirements. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to fulfil your order. StackLedger does not itself make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Payment and fraud providers operate their own checks as described in their notices.
Website technology and your downloaded files
Payhip and Stripe use technology required to operate their services. Their notices and any controls they display explain their use. No additional StackLedger advertising pixels or optional analytics are included in this launch setup. We will review the notice and consent controls before adding them.
Information you enter into a downloaded spreadsheet stays in your own copy. The template does not send its contents to StackLedger. Do not email us unredacted customer records when asking for help; use a sample or remove personal information first.
